Because I did not review the previous season, I want to discuss a little about the visuals, music, and characters from the Kakegurui anime.

Each student in the school will be given 1 coin representing 1 vote, the other coins must be obtained by gambling. Whoever managed to collect the highest votes in one month, he was the new student council president.
This selection was apparently not only attended by students from their schools, Momobami Kirari also brought other school students who were persons with the name "Bami" in their family names, they were all part of the big family of Bami. The surprising thing was that this election was not only for the position of student council president, but also for the position of chairman of the large "Bami" family. The real threat turned out to come from Jabami Yumeko who certainly couldn't wait to be able to gamble with his new opponents.

This anime only takes a lot of background stories at school, so it might not be too difficult for MAPPA studios to adapt the anime. The more highlighted parts of the anime Kakegurui are of course in parts such as weird facial expressions, expressions of intimidating opponents, Yumeko style orgasmic expressions, inner sounds, and other things related to characterizing. Of course no one is concerned about how visually presented MAPPA is. Because it really is like that should be the anime that discusses gambling.

MUSIC: 8
Music Background anime Kakegurui uses the same music as music at the bar, music at the casino, music in arcade games, and other types of jazz. MAPPA is quite good at doing this, although this might be the first time an anime about gambling has been adapted, certainly not arbitrary in terms of music selection.
Sound effects also have an important role. The tense scene in this anime will not succeed without a powerful sound effect. When the character bluffs, is in trouble, or is confident all of them have been helped by a great sound effect. So that the audience might become involved in the atmosphere of gambling.
CHARACTERS
1. Jabami Yumeko: 8
The main actor in this anime, only has one motivation, which is gambling with risky bets. If this is not done, it is not pleasant.
Character development of Yumeko is the most highlighted since the first season. So everyone must know very well how Yumeko gambles. No matter how intimidating the enemy is, it will certainly be easy for Yumeko to face. She is Psychological Winner bro.
2. Batsubami Rei: 5
This new character has great potential to compete with Yumeko. Batsubami Rei has good character development compared to other Bami family children, but unfortunately this character is nothing in the end. He can be defeated easily by the mind game that Yumeko does.
3. Toutoubami Terano: 4
Aside from Batsubami Rei, another character who was strong enough to win this election was Toutobami Terano. But unfortunately this character does not get much more in this anime 1 cour. If there really is another season, I want this character to be explained further. So it's strong enough to rival Yumeko, Kirari and Saotome characters.
4. "Seito kaichou" Momobami Kirari: 6
Momobami Kirari is described as having a personality similar to Yumeko. But unfortunately, the portion of character development in this anime really highlights Yumeko more, so I still don't see enough motivation for the reason of Momobami Kirari gambling.

STORY: 5
Unlike the previous season, I was very happy the gamble not only involving Yumeko. But also Suzui, Saotome, Sumeragi, and Manyuda. The plot story that the season's Kakegurui wants to give is actually good, but not strong enough to match the story in the previous season. The psychology that is felt might only be strong in the initial episode, in the subsequent episodes the gambling that is done does not have more risky bets, so it might look less attractive. The psychological feeling that was felt was not strong enough to match the psychological in the previous season.
The gambling material in the previous season used more money, self-esteem, and all things that could make his character miserable for life. It was shown in the previous season how money really felt that it had run out of function, so the viewers might not consider money in this anime to be used as an object worthy of betting.
What happened to money in the previous season has had an impact on this season. So we can conclude "it's not about money anymore, money has become a boring thing". To overcome this, then in the arc election this new object emerged called coin sound, the coin became an important object in the election of the new student council president this time.
Lots of characters appear, but not memorable enough to be remembered. This is certainly because very little character development is given. So that I consider them to be only characters used to defeat Yumeko. The previous season can do much better, all the student council members in the previous season really told how the story one by one. Previous season has more Good Character Development.
The peak of this season should be in episode ten, ending with the end of the match between Yumeko and the student council secretary Igarashi Sayaka. The moment when Sayaka jumped from the 5th floor should be enough to end the Ending from this season. But MAPPA even added episodes 11 and 12 which had different stories from their manga. Of course not because of any reason, the arc election in the actual manga is still not finished. MAPPA is quite determined to want to adapt this anime. Many of the original entries given by MAPPA did not approve, so the viewers thought that episode 10 should be the closing of this anime.

OVERALL: 6
This arc seems not enough if you only get 1 cour. It leaves a prolonged cliffhanger for the audience. Apart from that, gambling in this season really provides quite interesting entertainment. I still enjoy it, even though the storyline doesn't show enough progress.
