The Winter 2019 season has arrived, finally a romance comedy anime appears which can interest the audience, the title is Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai . It has different genres in general. Its combining two elements between Romance and Psychological . Quite a new type in RomCom's anime history.

What a great character design. It's very easy to remember the characters of this anime who have very unique personalities. This anime mainly highlights the visual expression of psychological characters rather than other visuals art and visual background part. Its not mean I give a minus. As I said in the previous article, genre anime like this does not need good visual art to win the hearts of the audience, just do it with a good story, music, and sound effect . Even though, it seems that we often see A-1 Pictures very showing off with how good they are making realistic rain effects, as well as the visual frames, A-1 Pictures also doesn't seem has some problems in terms of their budget, so we can see the anime that is very smooth on its frame movement.

We start first from the opening song. Maybe because I am very often to hear the vocal tone of a woman's singing, I feel that the opening song this time is not quite memorable . Even so, the visual animation on the opening song is good enough to give us something about what this anime story will be about.
Of course with the genre of psychological, BGM and sound effects chosen by Sound Director Aketagawa Jin, it has given enough impact to make the audience tense. With the many previous experiences he had, especially in the anime which in my opinion had the best sound direction, Kuzu no Honkai , then we don't need to doubt the results of his sound direction. Dont underestimate this pro sound director bro.

CHARACTER
Maybe I will choose and sort some people who have the most dominant character.
1. Shinomiya Kaguya: 8 
O kawaii koto , a word that always remembers in my head even though I have finished watching this anime. Shinomiya Kaguya has a character design that may be the first time I've seen in my life. I'm not saying that means it will make me one of the people who will be ones of Shinomiya Kaguya fans out there. But at least its really enough to give something fresh in RomCom's anime history.
Behind her ignorant personality, I admit that Shinomiya Kaguya has an attractive personality to be said as a waifu of million people. His personality which sometimes looks shy behind his serious face, is enough to make the audience amazed. That success proves that Shinomiya Kaguya is not a character who really has ignorant personality.
Another interesting personality is where Shinomiya often makes a lot of preparations just to make an event that can be experienced by Shirogane Miyuki. Although it usually always ends up failing. We have to give high appreciation, this proves that his love for Shirogane Miyuki is indeed great.
Shinomiya Kaguya then when it starts approaching the closing part of the season begins to get development about his past. It succeeded in building more sympathy from the audience as the person whose name was mentioned in the title of this anime, and also made Shinomiya Kaguya's fans grow even more.
2. Shirogane Miyuki: 7
I think it's only natural that I put this character in second place. When it comes to characters with more dominant personalities, Shinomiya Kaguya is far superior to Shirogane Miyuki. Even though they both almost have same personality, there is a personality that makes Shirogane Miyuki look very different. Shirogane often thinking something bad about what Shinomiya really thinks. This is what often makes the audience laughed. Shirogane often regretted what he had done, even though Shinomiya actually thought that what Shirogane did made him look really cool in her eyes.
3. Fujibawara Chika: 8
Fujibawara is also the first character design that I saw in my life, was it because of the ribbon on his head? Wakaranai. Even so, Fujibawara actually has a personality that I have often met in other anime. Fujibawara's character can be said to be a savior or a troublemaker in this anime. Her role is very important to make the conflict between Shirogane and Shinomiya not look monotonous. If there are answers A and B, then Fujibawara has a C answer to solve their situation's problem. But Fujibawara also often became a troublemaker in a plan that Shinomiya had painstakingly made to defeat Shirogane.
STORY: 7
I don't know the point of view of who is actually more dominant in this anime, so maybe we can conclude that this anime uses both perspectives at once; namely the point of view of men and women. However, with the Seinen genre, I believe that the target audience of this anime is men, in other words, most viewers will place themselves in Shirogane's perspective.
Kaguya-sama Kokurasetai is a newest genre in RomCom's anime history. Combining two genres that other anime doesn't have in general, romance and psychological . Then born an anime about mental love war that often the characters speak in their heart.
I am quite worried whether this anime will be a monotonous comedy anime until the end. But with the presence of characters such as Fujibawara Chika and Ishikawa Yuu success to make the story not only focus on Shirogane and Shinomiya. Also, the student council treasurer Ishikawa Yuu, he has a personality who often conspires badly with Shinomiya characters. This adds a new element to eliminate the monotonous elements in this anime.
Putting the word Comedy at the beginning of the genre made me expect more from this anime. The scene often makes laughter, but some other scenes are not like that. This is an inconsistent thing. I thought that putting the word Comedy at the beginning of the genre would make this anime very thick with elements like HardComedy anime in general, but it didn't. This anime in my opinion turns out to have a more dominant side of romance than the comedy . My laughter at the beginning of the episode didn't last long until the next few episodes. Maybe this anime should begin to sort their genre again into Romance, Psychological, Comedy, School, Seinen.
ENJOYMENT: 7
This anime is perfect for Romance fans who want to add more animes stock. But for me who have been very longing to find the HardComedy anime, Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai is not the answer I'm looking for. In terms of romance I still enjoy it , but in terms of comedy I didn't .

Overall Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai is something new. It has an element of romance that is very well supported by psychological which also often makes the audience entertained with more intense scenes. I don't expect season 2 will coming because as we know the manga from this anime is far from over.
