Fate/series Gets an Anime Again? 'Lord El-Melloi II-sei no Jikenbo' will air in July 2019

A Fate Project event at the end of 2018 has announced that the series of Lord El-Melloi II-sei no Jikenbo's light novels will get an anime adaptation. The titles chosen for this anime will be "Lord El-Meiloi II Sei no Jikenbo: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note". The genres of this anime are fantasy, mystery, and supernatural.  This anime will adapt the most popular chapter of Lord El-Mello II's light novel series, it's an arc about fighting to become the owner of Adra Castle.  Even though there is word 'II' in the title, you don't need to worry. Because that doesn't mean this anime is a second season, but its only the mention of noble for Second Lord El-Melloi. Unlike the other Fate/series which show more battle scenes, this anime will likely show more sides of the battle of thought.  This anime is also a spin-off series, which means that this anime will have a new story and not be related at all to the other Fate/series title.

Tells the story of the Second Lord El-Melloi named Waver Velvet, who was asked to inherit the famous historic building, Adra Castle.  He went there with his student, Gray.  But after they arrived there, it turned out that they weren't the only people who were asked to inherit that historical building. The owner of Adra Castle previously stated that in determining who would become the next owner of Adra Castle, they had to use their intelligence in a game that relied on thought. Whoever wins the game will become the person who inherited Adra Castle.

This anime will be made by the TROYCA studio.  Some famous seiyuu that have been confirmed will be involved in this anime, Namikawa Daisuke (Velvet Waver), Minase Inori (Reines El-Melloi Archisorte), Ono Daisuke (Addo), Matsuoka Yoshitsugu (Flatt Escardos), and several other Seiyuus

Lord El-Meiloi II-sei no Jikenbo is a spin-off Fate / series light novel written by Sanda Makoto (story) and Sakamoto Mineji (illustration).  This novel was first published in December 2014 through the Type-Moon magazine and as of December 2018 has scored 9 volumes.  In addition, he also received an adaptation of the manga drawn by Azuma Tou through the Young Ace magazine in October 2017.

Unlike the other Fate/series that are fighting for Holy Grail, this anime also has a story that focuses on fighting for something, but what is up for this time is a valuable historical heritage, Adra Castle. This time Fate/series series may only have a few fight scenes. Even so, hopefully the war of thought presented by this anime can satisfy Fate/series lovers out there.
